English Premier League Turns Blue

Most recently, they drew 1-1 to Burnley. That result allowed Manchester City and West Ham United to close the gap at the top to three points. Both are sharing second place with 23 points and the same exact record of 7-2-2. Most recently, City beat Manchester United (2-0), while West Ham surprised Liverpool 3-2. Our predictions included Manchester City to win and both to score in West Ham vs Liverpool.

After losing to the Hammers, Liverpool fell to fourth place with 22 points while Arsenal climbed to fifth after beating Watford 1-0. After a rocky start, the Gunners haven’t lost in their last eight domestic games. You should start considering including them in your soccer picks.

The EPL action will return on Nov. 20 and, as expected, the top four will be favorites. Chelsea (-135) will face Leicester City, Manchester City (-600) will host Everton, and West Ham (+145) will collide with Wolverhampton.

Liverpool and Arsenal will meet in the EPL Game of the Week. The Reds come in as the favorites at -210, but don’t momentum will be on the Gunners’ side.

Sinking

Manchester United, also known as the Red Devils, are literally in hell. After losing to Manchester City, they fell to sixth place with 17 points (5-2-4). They only won one of their last four domestic games. Right now, they’re not a reliable betting online option.

The front office keeps backing up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their manager, but I think the players have had enough. Rumor has it they expect to have a new manager when coming back from the international break.

Their next game will be on the road against Watford. Curiously enough, they’ve been better when playing away from home. They’re 3-1-1, 3-2 against the spread and over/under.

Relegation Zone

Newcastle was recently bought by a billionaire consortium, but the results haven’t been that good. In fact, they’re in the relegation zone alongside Burnley (eight points) and Norwich (five points). They also have five points and they haven’t won a single game.

They’ll have a great opportunity to do so in the next fixture. They’ll play host to Brentford and they’re offering a +185 price at our sportsbook. It seems like it’s now or never for the Magpies.

English Premier League Top Scorers

I said before and I’ll say it again, Mohamed Salah deserves a Ballon D’or. He leads the EPL scoring chart with a three-goal difference over second place, but that’s not all. He also leads the assists chart with seven. The man can do it all.

Despite Leicester City not having a good season, Jamie Vardy remains among the striker’s elite. He’s a tempting dark horse when it comes to the EPL Golden Boot race.

Here’s a quick rundown of EPL’s top scorers:

  • Mohamed Salah (Liverpool): 10
  • Jamie Vardy (Leicester City): 7
  • Michail Antonio (West Ham United): 6
  • Sadio Mane (Liverpool): 6
  • Raphinha (Leeds United): 5
